The Colour of Language

Katrina has been accepted to represent both Regional South Australia and Australia, to work alongside other Artists from around the world at the very competitive Tulipamwe International Artists Workshop in August 2015.  Running for 14 days, Tulipamwe, meaning ‘we are together’, is aimed at bringing artists on all levels together, allowing each artist an opportunity to both ‘gain and receive’ from the workshop.   The workshop will run for 14 days in the middle of the Namib Desert, with an exhibition by workshop artists being held at the National Art Gallery of Namibia on the 1st September 2015; as a platform to show artists work during their stay at Gobabeb.

The Workshop is supported by Tulipamwe Arts Trust, which is a not for profit, non-governmental organisation, independently funded Community outreach project established in 1994.

Special thanks to Melanie Sarantou from Art South-South Trust, and Ellenor Day-Lutz from Yarta Purtli Gallery in Port Augusta for their support

Please keep an eye on this site for fundraising events to assist Katrina with making her way to the Workshop.
